For the past three months Connor has had the opportunity to serve as a Ward Missionary for our Falcon Park Ward.
He learned how to prepare to teach/interact with investigators, active and inactive members of the church, and various companions. He also learned how to listen for and follow inspiration received from the Holy Spirit that assisted him in reaching out to those who weren't "on the list", but who welcomed visits and were receptive to what was shared.
Being a Ward Missionary also allowed him to attend local District meetings and Zone conferences.
Today, was Connor's last day with these amazing Elders and Sisters serving in the Third District of the South Salt Lake Area (photos below). He is grateful to have been included in these meetings in which he gained valuable knowledge that will definitely benefit his ability to serve in Uganda. He will greatly miss these wonderful missionaries, but is excited to move forward.
This blog was created for family and friends of Elder Connor P. O'Hagan to follow his journey as he serves in the Uganda Kampala Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Farewell Talk & Gathering
August 20th, 2017
We were overwhelmed by the show of support Connor received at his mission farewell. So many friends and family came to listen to his talk and to hear his testimony. We were overjoyed to have many members and non-members in attendance. Our family is blessed beyond measure to have so many beautiful souls of various denominations in our circle.
We had a small gathering after church services to collect email addresses, share mission details and reminisce together. We were thrilled to have Grandma Huls and Grandma Petersen there, as well as Aunts, cousins and some of our favorite friends.
It was beautiful day, filled with love and delicious treats. We are grateful to everyone who came and shared this day with us.
